Alright.. question for ya'll. I always view any unsolicited email with the utmost scrutiny, but today I got an email from BMW CCA welcoming me to the club. Did not get such a thing when I got my 30i. So... this was really weird IMO. Have ya'll ever gotten an email like this?

No and I’ve been a member for about 20 years. The only time I get a welcome is via US mail when they send me a new membership card. The majority of their emails are the weekly Bimmerlife newsletter and promo emails to buy tickets in their car raffle.

Aside from the emails, I enjoy the magazines and the membership has paid for itself several times over with the rebates on my car purchases. I’ve bought 10 BMWs, got the rebate on seven.

Did you join and forget that you did so? I didn’t join bmwcca until I got the Z. Over 20 years of owning BMWs and took me that long… 323,330,E46,330,X5,E93,535,X3,F80,X5,G80,Z4. Love all the discounts and membership perks.

lol though that is something I would do, found out a cars and coffee friend set up the account for me.

Discounts off new cars, clothes, trips, etc…. got $1000 off our X7 but it’s $500 on the Z4. Have to be a 3 year membership for 6 months before you buy your car to qualify or 1 year with a 1 year membership. The other discounts are things like Michelin tires, brooks brothers, hotels in Greenville, travel agencies, Biltmore tickets etc.

Thanks! Does my account show I live in Charleston, or is just coincidence you mention Greenville and the Biltmore? My wife and I love Greenville and Asheville.

Coincidence- Greenville because of BMW plant in Spartanburg, and Biltmore because we frequent Asheville.
