Literally stripped down to her bra, while yelling what a piece of shit I am and throwing a tantrum like a 2 year old with people everywhere. This happened because I wanted to take her out to a nice dinner. That level of embarrassment.
oh man... that's horrible. sorry to hear you went through that

i've sent you the text, that was from a time before learning what i know now. i still wouldn't do it but i do see it working out

As I mentioned....I don't drink.

But take 1000mg of NAC when you first start drinking, then an additional 1000mg every 2 hours after as long as you continue drinking.

Guarantee you don't feel bad the next day.

Quit drinking almost 4 1/2 years ago. Was the best decision of my life.

so wait, you don't drink yet you hang with 20 year old girls?

do explain where to find non-degenerate women who also happen to be in my age range. college is fun but many of these girls are not relationship material

Same for me. I stopped drinking completely probably a year ago. Got to the point I couldn't even have a couple beers without feeling like shit the next day. Is it possible to be allergic to alcohol? certainly seemed like it.

When younger...I didn't mind having a dark bitter beer every so often....just never was a big drinker.

However about 15 years ago.....I swear I developed an allergy to the Hops or something as I couldn't drink half of one without my sinuses locking completely up.

It's another reason I just stopped altogether.

I don't drink BEER any longer.

With getting heavily buzzed at 3-4 straight shots (sipped, since I'm buying better spirits) I don't wake up hurting. A little parched some times, but I can't claim to have been really hung over in a number of years. Most of those bad influence co-workers don't work with me any more.

Ok, there's a difference between "sober" and "dry." I can have a beer or a glass of wine and still be sober. So does Sober October mean I can drink a little as long as I toe the sober line?

Too late for me then. I had wine with dinner a few nights ago and a couple IPAs with my ribs tonight. I'm sooooooo disappointed.

I'm working on 10+ years sober.
Seen enough damage boozin's done to not want to be part of it.
The amount of cash I save is a nice bonus. Makes a car payment.

Stopped smoking about 4 years back. That pays for insurance.

Never started the motivation speaker craze. My mind is my own.

Yep... I'm thinking the same thing, an allergic reaction. Once I hit my thirties two glasses of any alcohol wrecked me the next day. It's strange because I drank like a fish in my twenties and rarely felt hung over. I'm going on eight years now of no alcohol.
