Wow, I guess I am lucky. Mine only sat at the port for about 2 days, but is now on a ship that makes many stops. Another ship leaving around the same time would have taken a more direct route and be here a week earlier.

My dealer told me that the wait time at the port has been long for the last couple of months.

Called bmw support today and they told me it left Bremerhaven on the 26th on Olympian Highway. Estimated to reach Brunswick on 11 April (couple stops along the way including Halafax). Hoping to take delivery by 21 April

For those of you who have ordered your Z4, let us know if your car pops up on your dealer’s web inventory as the car gets closer to delivery date.

Who is advertising this M40i for then to get the color right? For Pete'a sake how hard is it to get it right. The M40i doesn't come in a simple blue metallic. The only blue hue on the M40i version is Misano blue which isn't offered in a metallic version.

If you're going to advertise a car on the web get it right. Just saying. Probably this dealership has a kid in high school as their media and webmaster who probably doesn't even drive yet.
And the description says 30i....

Yes that is correct. The photo is clearly an M40i with the cerium grey grill and trims. And, by the way, Misano Blue is Metallic. I know it doesn't look metallic but I can assure you that it is.

Never said it wasn’t. Post was in reference to the other gentleman stating the ad said 3.0i

Also in regards to that vehicle, they definitely do not have it on the lot yet. Hint why it’s just the stock photo of the vehicle. The production date for the vehicle was 3/19/19, a day after mine. Even if it got to the port the day after mine, it still was waiting for a boat. More than likely was put on the same one as mine which is still closing in on Halafax.

So if anyone wants to buy that MB z4 in Rockford, IL, the boat details are above haha.

I agree. The reference to Misano Blue was in relation to a previous post by another member but I could not find his original post. As I was responding to your post I just added the comment for interest sake. No harm done.

If it is any consolation to you, new Z4 deliveries are all delayed in the UK. I ordered my M40i in November and I am still waiting on delivery. It has now arrived at the UK port and I am hoping to pick it up at my dealer in the next few days

Ok this may be a bit anal but this morning on a live webcam I watched my M40i Z4 go through the Panama Canal on its way to California. Ok I watched the vessel it is on go through the canal but I'll take anything I can to keep me updated on its progress. After spending 9 days at the port in Bremerhaven on the dock waiting for a ship this is driving me crazy.

My CA told me that based on all the stops the vessel still has to make that my car still has 2 more weeks before it gets to the VPC in Oxnard. Then it's another week for the car to get to the dealership. I'm dying here.

I feel your pain haha. I’ve been checking the ship’s status for stops for a few days now. Was supposed to be in Halafax today, but won’t get there until tomorrow evening >.< thankfully the ETA for Brunswick is still 11 April for me.

Ship is the Heroic Leader. Same here with stops. They were anchored off the coast of Puerto Rico for two days chillin and partying before they got under way again.

Yes, I know the guy who owns that car. He ordered it in October, right after the prices were released in the UK. It was finally delivered to him on March 30th, three weeks later than promised by BMW.

My M40i was ordered in November and I have just been informed by my dealer in the UK that it will be ready for me to collect on Monday (April 8th), two weeks late.
