73yo Grandmother in Z4
Keeping myself occupied googling Z4 news, and came across this little story about a 73yo Indian grandmother and business owner. She apparently owns a driving school founded by her late husband in the 70s, and is licensed to operate/teach 11 different categories of vehicles/equipment, (including excavators & cranes). The instagram video ‘advertisement’ for the heavy equipment division of the school has her driving away in a Z4.
Just passing it along for some Monday smiles, thought it was a cute little story, (not to mention impressive for her accomplishments over the years). And obviously, Z4 content, lol. Article Link Instagram Link to vid |

The yellow color of the Z4 in the links only confirms that BMW is missing the boat when it comes to having some really hot roadster colors being made available.

I’ve always been a fan of brighter highlighter yellows. Had a 07 velocity yellow C6 for awhile. But yes, with the sales numbers where they are for a Z4 BMW would have nothing to lose adding a spicy color option. They are adding darker hue greens but don’t have much lighter option then white right now. Even the red is a darker shade, went darker with the Portimao blue etc. This is such a serious sports car, no lighter shades allowed lol |

Yes, it could be a brighter yellow but it is still better than some of the boring and conservative colors that are offered currently.

Check out used Porsche 911 turbos if you want to see dark, boring colors. You'd think they charged extra for any color but black.

Wife (driver of wife's car) is a 76 yo grandmother. She's had the Z4 for 3 years and, before that, a Z3 for 22 years. I think she's reliving her early 20's when she drove a 20 year old XK-120 (LONG before I knew her - she wouldn't have looked at me even once back then)
