I spoke to Rivan who is one of the owners who really knows his stuff. After speaking to him I might do allover Xpel PPF instead of front PPF. Take a drive over in your free time and check them out. Last edited by Westside Guy; 09-30-2021 at 07:36 PM.. |

I would definitely do the A pillars because for me they tend to take rock strikes. I had a rock strike on mine within a few weeks of install and they replaced the piece for free. It should be a fairly cheap adder as it’s a simple rectangular piece. I also added the door sills, because my shoes tend to rub on them and scuff the paint when I get in and out, and the rear panel under the trunk, where things bang when you’re loading the trunk. In my case I did everything from the doors forward + rocker panels, door sills and the trunk area I mentioned. I also ceramic coated the whole car.

Had my car done in Stek PPF last week. The entire front end, A pillars, headlights and the rockers from the seam just below the hood overhang all the way to the rear wheels. Have done XPel the last three cars, but am trying this per my PPF guru. Top surface of the Stek is hydrophobic and feels like it's freshly waxed (but isn't), thus the bugs just slide off when cleaning. Real happy with that aspect and it's also self healing like XPel.

Not sure on your question. With mine he will PPF cover anything or everything that I desire and will pay for! I've never used any other PPF installer and with him the headlights are extra. $150.00 for my car(s).

I wasn't sure that they actually covered the headlights with PPF. Thanks for the clarification.

They do cover the headlights and I had mine done. The headlights are another prime rock strike point. Pretty much anything you see when you look at the front of the car head on.
