Coffee, what’s your go to choice?

I can’t drink Dunkin. It tastes like water to me. I can only drink Starbucks Pike place black (like my soul) at home and work.

Cafe du Monde if I brew a pot. If I just want one cup, I'll do a Starbucks Via packet of Italian dark roast.

I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I prefer tea - green tea, black tea, all sorts of tea.

For those times when I really need a boost, I resort to this:

Green Mountain Costa Rican Paradise pushed through an Aeropress

Sometimes I roast and my favorite is Guatemalan on average. This is close to but not quite as good with less hassle.

I don't buy coffee at outlets. I would rather drink transmission fluid...

I like to grind my own beans. I like a dark roast during the week and a mild Italian for the week-end. But I do experiment with other brands.

I use the electric Cuisinart on work days because it's on a timer and I much prefer my stove top percolator on days off since I can control the amount of time required for a good percolation. Electrics shut down much too soon.

I miss my old glass percolator. I use dunkin dark at home and Starbucks 5 shot latte on way to work. Yes, I like strong coffee.

I love SF Bay French Roast. I get whole beans. I grind and put in Keurig reusable cup. They sell the k-cups at Costco and they are fine, but I prefer grinding my own beans. If you like French Roast, give it a try.

Yeah, makes a nice difference with a burr grinder.

True, they dont do drip. Just espresso. But that's how I drink it anyway. I prefer an Americano to drip coffee any day.

Buy green and roast it the way I like it. Brew in a Technivorm.

In a tight spot, Peet's Big Bang.
