Northeast Z4 in Winter

Winter is bad enough with summer tires. Wheels still spin at 50mph with throttle. But on days like this my car gets held up for a least a week or more.

You didn't order the Snow Plow (SN0) option for your car? Fits snuggly on the front grill. Pays for itself with just a single snowmageddon!

Punxsutawney Phil has predicted six more weeks of winter. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Yikes! That drop down work table is going to give me nightmares! Looks like a guillotine poised to take a head off. Lock it, man - right now!!!!!

I'm in the process of reorganizing my garage to fit a second car (the Z4) . Bikes have been banished to a new shed as well as all rakes, shovels and lawn equipment. I'll be lashing the few items left to the wall with removable straps to ensure disaster doesn't strike. Tomorrow I'm building a little door guard contraption out of PVC pipe and an insulating sleeve to go between the two cars and hopefully prevent any dings from careless door openings. The garage is about 19 feet wide so I've got to improvise.

Looks great. We've got a nasty Arctic vortex breaking off and heading south as I write.

jcard71, rikwynnpa, can one person easily put that cover on? Wife is disabled so I'm doing everything solo around here.

That table has a lock man. Unless someone comes and cuts it I'm good...

I put a square set of Sottizero's on & drove mine all winter. Big snow or forecasted snow I took my AWD - but never hesitated to take out the Z4 .. Took trips from PA to FL and drove around in sub freezing temps & hooked up & stuck in corners just fine! Could launch in my 30i with almost 0 wheelspin.. Was awesome.

I 100% get & respect others covering it & keeping until Spring - but that's just not for me. I enjoyed driving it all winter & those days when we had 40+ & all sun I was right there with top down & seats on.. loving life.
