I am not a homophobe. It is my civic duty (no pun) to make people see the light. Audi = Girlie / Metrosexual car. BMW = Ballin'

You can't take life too seriously..... specially cars

I trust this is dry UK humor that you are not trying to make class distinctions by people's car choices. If you were serious
You are contradicting yourself. You are labeling cars as girlie and so on but question him regarding distinctions.
I personally do not want my car to be "ballin". You go for the balls I'll go for the girlie's.

+1

Also, i do not think Audi S5 or any Audi is a "metrosexual" car at all. I very much respect the RS and S lines and I'm aware of numerous members on this forum who own such cars.

Common Sense.
I can tell you have none of that (Common Sense that is). Otherwise you would have noticed this is the General Automotive (NON-BMW) Talk forum and not the I own a 335i so I'm a douche (which is really how a lot of you are coming off right now) forum.

And for the record. I think my BMW performs great and looks amazing, the only reasons I bought it. Frankly, my 2002 Honda Civic was built better than this and cost under 20K. Audi does have the upper hand with craftsmanship, but BMW rules the road.

there is a point in there somewhere but I think TT is more metrosexual then A5-S5.

Besides, I dont think that Nissan should be worse than S5, its a good no nonsense car, with decent grunt and very good price tag!

Audi S5 at 60k GBP. FCUK ME, think about that price tag. A 120,000 USD for a an audi coupe based on A4 or A6 platform (not sure here). Tell me how is this not madness.

Its not based on any of those, its the first Audi to use the new chassis set up.

Im sure is a great car otherwise, but performance wise...its got nothing.

Hmmm. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on a 650i then too.

Care to share??????

Last time I checked the 650i was 25k more than an S5 with only 3 more hp.... God BMW are such idiots for making that overpriced underpowered car

I would agree that the TT would and does appeal to females, a lot more in fact than either an A/S5 or a Z4 for that matter.

The 350Z is a great car, more masculine than either the S5 or M3. Big heavy controls which both Audi and BMW have decided aren't needed and they are right.

BUT WHERE DID YOU GET THE PRICE OF A S5 AT £60K.....MAN!!!!!!!:sad0147:

My S5 cost £44K fully loaded with most of the tasty extras. A stock car which again is specced with 3zone Air-con, full leather, park sensors etc., still costs just £40K.

Please get your facts right before spending misinformation.

I had one of the first Z's in Texas. I was probably also the quickest to get rid of it. White with off white leather touring. I gave it a 6 and then gave it to the first buyer. But that's me. Good car for the money is correct.

from Edmunds:

335i
1/4 mile 13.3 @ 105.9 mph

http://www.edmunds.com/apps/vdpconta...9/pageNumber=1

S5
1/4 mile 13.3 @ 104.6 mph

http://www.edmunds.com/apps/vdpconta...4/pageNumber=1

It looks like the 335 is actually a little faster.

Here's another one of your American reviews. Seems the S5 can be a bit quicker than a 335i after all.

But then you already knew about this review and that is why you forgot to include it in you comments no doubt.

I had no idea about this review. I swear!

Here is another one for you:

Car&Driver

335
1/4 mile 13.4 sec @ 106 mph

http://www.caranddriver.com/shortroa...ffs-page3.html

S5
1/4 mile 13.4 @ 105 mph

http://www.caranddriver.com/roadtest...oad-page3.html

Once again the 335 has a higher trap speed, so its faster...

But then you already knew about this review and that is why you forgot to include it in you comments no doubt.
