At the dealer!!

24 days before the original expected delivery date, I get a call from my dealer saying my car is ready!! :rocks: Unfortunately, I won't be able to pick her up till Saturday. He pulled the front plate bracket out of the car, and assured me the bumper will not be drilled. I can't wait!!

I'll post pics first chance I get.

Congrats!! Look at it this way, Saturday you'll have all day to enjoy taking delivery, going for a nice ride, etc. Think of it like this... this Saturday you have a hot date with a sure thing. Worth waiting for, no?

I waited just under 2 weeks to pick my car up on Saturday July 30. Nice early start, great day just driving around to family & friends to show them and take them for a drive.

The best day to pick up your car if you are a full time worker or business owner like myself and cannot get a day off during the week.

All the best. You will LOVE your new car.

You are right there David - I usually get my cars at the end of the day, and spend the whole day at work thinking about it, like a kid on Christmas eve, so I may as well have had the day off because I am not very productive. Getting it Saturday morning, you wake up go there and get it, and don't have and pressure to be anywhere or drive it in peak hour traffic for the first time like I do when I get the car at the end of the day!!

Yup, it was either Friday morning rush hour with the kids, or Saturday morning- no traffic- no kids. Dealer is about 30 miles from my house, so now I need to figure out the way home w/out using freeways!
