Our US delivery M40i status has changed from "At the port" to "In transit".

I'm guessing that means the ship has sailed. The next update will say "At the dealership" so it seems the is no update on port arrival.

Since there was more than a week of "At the port", it would be nice if that time was part of the Atlantic crossing.

Wishful thinking, for sure...

If you know the ship name, you can track that while in transit. The dealer can give you the ship name. It akes a couple weeks to cross the Atlantic and there is a a two or three day dead zone in the middle of the ocean. You will get a few more "at the port" and "in transit" before you get "at the dealership".
