There is more to consider than pronation. For example, with what part of the heel do you strike first as you walk/run, your arch, type of surface on which you walk/run, mileage.

I overpronate, heel strike, medium arch, paved surfaces, ~20 miles a week. Out of the options, I chose the Brooks Adrenaline.

Have you had a gait analysis?

lots of dedicated running shoe stores offer gait analysis using video or just visual observation - on treadmill or maybe some type of sensor. And if course your used running shoes to read sole wear.

Go to a dedicated running store and tell them you want new running shoes. Will be about $120 but they will fit right and be appropriate for your running style.

Sincerely,
Chidozie Onuegbe

I'll tell you that I've had issues with overpronation, resulting in shin splints, other injuries, etc.

Asics Kayanos fixed that for me. So, that's what I always tell people with overpronation to try.

Just FYI on those, they are $160 brand new, but you can get "last year's model" for $119 on Amazon (from Asics) all day. At times, they are discounted beyond that.

You can also get orthotics made and use a neutral shoe.

They work wonders for me, and I know by how my legs feel when they need to be replaced.
