The stewards' way of thinking then deciding needs some shake up my friend, Max was past and hammy was giving no quarter forcing Max to go off track.
In that situation the stewards have to see that there was no option to prevent a collision.

A good racer, which Max isn't, would know that it's a disappearing line and would be foolish to think a 7-time champ would leave him space. Elbows out, isn't that what Max does? Except he actually runs into other racers.

A pass maneuver doesn't end as soon as the pass happens, it has to stick, max couldn't complete the turn without going off the track.

Yea, but atleast he took responsibility for his mistake, which he rarely makes.

When has max ever taken responsibility for his many mistakes? It's always someone else's fault when max makes a mistake. That's the attitude that is costing him race victories.

A good racer is someone who gives way when someone gets past them and not crowds the passer in such a way to risk a collision or force them off track ''when'' they are ahead.

Well HAM made 29 mistakes during the race !

29 times exceeding the track limits doesn't looks like responsibility .
But he stole +/- 14.5 sec. of advantage by his 29 mistakes anyway ... And the victory !

BTW : HAM was warned twice for his 29 mistakes !

Doesn't matter, it wasn't while completing a pass.

So he could have done it 50 times, if it wasn't for RB complaining and him getting a warning.

Yes he ran wide on turn 10, he made a mistake before the turn and ran while because of it, he lost time = no advantage.

I don't think you under stand the concept of completing a pass. By your rules, you can dive bomb a corner, park on the apex and let the guy you just 'past' hit you. By your rules that would be acceptable because he is already past the other car by dive bombing right?

Learn to understand the rules better.

1•Negative . The pass wasn't dive bombing , because MAX was on the outside in turn 4 while HAM was going extremely wide to force MAX off track !

^^ 29 mistakes is 145 seconds penalty for hammy, the stewards certainly need fresh eye tests instead of focusing on Max and talking rubbish.
