It's not bad but I'd really like to see it shot in something other than a studio. There are a few things bothering me:
-The headlight washers taking a chunk out of the housing shape -The drop in the greenhouse at the C-pillar where the roof keeps going (it's more a problem with the roofline...wish it dropped with the greenhouse) -The sparse grille almost looks cheap with those giant plain slats -The side fender vent looks unfinished; like someone carved a hole and didn't adorn it with anything to make it look nice Love everything else about the car though.

That thing looks pretty wicked. Definitely a departure from the Ferrari norm... but I guess I can't complain too much since I'll never be able to afford one anyway... or if I ever can I'll be 20 years behind the most recent version lol

That car you posted is teh 612 Concept. I would do anything for them to build it.

Quick chop of what a coupe would have looked like. From scale drawings I worked out:
- FF has shorter front overhang - Front axle to door is exact same length - Door is exact same length - Wheelbase is longer - Shorter rear overhang too.

Same. That's the kind of design I was expecting from a 612 replacement.

Panamera has 4 doors, can seat a 6'3 man in the back and costs wayy less to purchase and maintain than a Ferrari The Porsche's performance is also up there -- much better value. Obviously Ferrari makes the best cars in the world -- Porsche is just affordable! |

That would be so much goddamn better than this shooting brake. It'd also be a closer successor to the 612.

This actually makes sense because if you're going to buy a 612 instead of a 599, you're doing it to bring three others around with you and on a vacation or drive of some sorts that needs luggage but don't want an SUV. In that sense, this is a big improvement over the 612. I'm not wording this very well at all but hopefully you get my point.

I have to admit, I was skeptical of the Panamera when I first saw it. I think most enthusiasts were. But a friend who is a realtor bought one and one go around in her Panny (lol that probably doesn't sound good) completely sold it.
I don't know if I, personally, would buy one (only because I have so many other autos on my list right now) but I certainly no longer look at the Panameras with uncertainty. |

Not feeling it but then again haven't been feeling any of ferrari's recent designs. I think the last Ferrari I liked was the boxer. Aston Martin is doing better with their designs. They are more organic with beautiful flowing curves and a masculine stance. Just look at the one-77. stunning IMO. Btw whatever happened to the 4 door lambo estoque? Another stunning design. Such a shame they never made it
