I don't think he's right though. I looked at the mini-sectors and the Ferraris are setting purple at almost every mini-sector out of a corner then every thing becomes slow. The higher drag from higher wong angles theory makes sense. The cars are fast out of a corner then air residence/drag slows them down.

Does anybody have the full question that redbull asked the FIA to clarify?
By reading the response I think Ferrari might have been able to tune the fuel flow to increase in the interval that's not being tested and then decrease it when it is being tested. Not necessarily capture the tested fuel and use it later (I wouldn't assume modern fuel flow meters actually remove a sample from the supply for testing and then discard anyways, it can be tested in line as it passes to the injectors) but just increase the fuel flow on a wave function of some sort. This is why the Redbull question would include the term "signal filtering". |

I just don’t see this. Lewis is extremely savvy re: his chances of winning an 8th WDC; (assuming he wins the 7th in 2020, and this will be tough). Whilst Mercedes aren’t immune to making stupid pit calls, their incompetence pails in comparison that is the Ferrari ‘strategy’ shitshow.
Bottom line: if Lewis has beaten all of Schumacher’s records except for getting the 8th WDC, he’s staying at MB. |

Never say never, but I can't see that happening.
Several reasons: 1.He won't have the freedom at Ferrari to do in his off time what he is doing now, ie fashion, music, etc. 2. Why move from a winning team to one that is not quite up there? 3. I can't see him and CL getting along, it will be similar to his first year at Mclaren with Alonso as his team mate. We all know how that played out... 4. Why would Ferrari even be interested in him, seeing that he is at the end of his career? He probably only has another 4 years or so left. I would rather be looking at a Sainz, Verstappen, Norris,etc. Even Danny Ric would be a better bet ito longevity. |
