I never order from Aliexpress, except when I do. The price from a US supplier is significantly higher, though. I’m looking forward to what you think when mounted.

Interested to see how it looks when headlights are on, I think Z4 DRL’s remain lit with headlights on. It all flows well being white in color.

DRL’s in yellow look unique but if both are lit at same time it may look a little funky.

I have the annual NC State (Emissions) & BMW inspections (Oil Change etc) scheduled for 4/10/24 @ Leith BMW. Will install the parts after that.

Will take some pictures of the install work & finished product unless someone else does it first.

I covered the summer wheels with ceramic coating on Friday and yesterday I mounted it and did a test drive.

Picked it up today from the Ceramic Pro installer, been with them since Tue, and thrilled with results of a 1-stage correction.

Edited, shop sent me better pics than mine hah.

A response like this is very subjective. IMHO, as long as you like it that is all that counts!

Washed it today. It wasn’t too bad. Mostly pollen and brake dust on the wheels.

It builds up pretty quick with the stock pads. I had the car and wheels ceramic coated so it cleans up reasonably easy, but it won't just rinse off. My routine is to spray with cleaner. Use a wand to break it loose, then rinse with a hose. I then go over everything with a microfiber towel to dry and lift the last of the dust. It's not hard, but getting in all the little nooks and crannies takes time.

Choice of brake pad material...like with tires, is a compromise. "Softer" pads less likely to squeal but don't offer the maximum braking force as more aggressive/harder compound pads and create more brake dust. Suspect that's why BMW tends to a softer pad material.

Hard to find a higher performance pad not susceptible to irritating/embarrassing noise. I've had good luck switching to Hawk HPS 5.0 pads on our MINI better braking feel with less brake dust. They are a high performance but street oriented pad. YMMV.

Did you install those Hawk pads or was it done at a dealer?
