It’s not horrible but it nothing close to the 718 Boxster’s perfectly sculpted hood-line
That's the biggest thing I miss about my 997.2. I'm short and seeing over the hood of other cars is definitely a lot more difficult. Especially seeing over the right corner on turns.

I must be missing something with the hood line. In AutoX you are generally looking out to the next turn not down at the currant turns cone.

I was speaking of protruding curbs and older urban parking structures with extremely tight corners; mundane stuff like that.

I’m okay with the Z4’s longer and higher hood line

But looking over the fenders of a 718 is without question the best view of the road

My problem is I can't get low enough unless I recline the seat more but then it compromises my leg room. I get a great view of the top windshield frame. To be fair, it's better than an MX-5 or S2000 which are impossible for me.

When I walked into the Porsche showroom and asked to see a Boxster, the salesman looked at me and said, "Over there, but I don't think you'll like it." He was right. I did however, like the 911 and the Panamera. But they're out of my price range.
