F-Series steering wheel compatibility

Hi everyone,

First post here..interested in finding out if anyone knows if an F-Series steering wheel would be compatible with the G29 Z4?

I have one from the F80 M3 and the steering wheel mounts appropriately on the splines but has issues recognising the multifunction switch.

Is this something that can be coded around or will it present issues?

Thanks!

i highly doubt it will work in a G-chassis vehicle. From my coding experience, there isn't much to code on steering wheels except paddles and airbag types

it's interesting..I have a switch from an F-Series car. Some of the buttons are recognised (checking via ISTA) and some of them aren't. What module are you coding for steering wheel on the G29? Is there a parameter similar to the F3X series LIN_VARIANTE_MFL?
