Who run a 10 sec z4 m40i?

I looking to buy a z4 m40i
Im a big fan of tuning so i'm looking to go on a turbo upgrade and meth injection. I see a lot of setup on supra but almost nothing on z4.

Anyone here running a fast z4 m40i?

I think with a bigger turbo and less restrictive exhaust you can get it 650-700hp without too much effort.

only exhaust and intake should get you around 500 somewhere with a proper tune. Not sure if the ECU is easily unlocked yet on the 2020+ models. Here in Belgium they use a hardware tuning box to overwrite the ecu on the newer models but from what I've seen on my friends cars, the performance results are very similar.

I'm curious by what you mean with different exhaust. Current diameter is pretty good size to begin with just looking at downpipe and cat back on my car, easily 3" diameter at least. Will increasing this really significantly improve performance if by only half an inch or so? Also without removing pinch points of the catalytic converter it will be hobbled anyway.

Listen. Anything you find on supramkv forums that people do to tune their cars you can do on the z4 as well. I'd say the internal bolt ons that fit in supra fit on z4 as well. Also for some reason it seems the z4 engine makes more power than the a91 supra when tuned but I'm not 100% sure.

Hey do you know how much an intake on its own increases hp with jb4 tune?

Also. With exhaust. I'm not 20 anymore so I don't agree with catless exhaust. How much does a catted exhaust provide in hp vs a catless?

I looking into supra a91 already. theres a bunch of stuff.
Has I know stock turbo can go max 500hp
I looking around 600hp on 91 oct. So I need meth and bigger turbo.
intake, downpipe and charge pipe.
Most important will be rear tire.

For my car only the intake (on a stage1 tune was 18hp and 50nm with the eventuri)
For the second one i have no idea, I replaced more than just the cat at that point.

These should go into the 10’s and most Supra mods will work. as delivered and bone stock on a slippery track mine went 12:44 @ 118. That’s easily an 11 sec car with a tire. It’s gone 7:80’s in the 1/8th on well prepped track.

Put a CAI on last week, like the sound. Will be doing JB4 tomorrow. The michelin super sports have 13k miles on them and no longer stick so will be replacing with 4s’. Probably just get a dedicated drag pack for it but still want to see what it will do next spring before using a drag radial. Then probably a catted down pipe. I also think the ecu has been cracked on the mid 21’ and up units. I’m not going to get to carried away as I may only keep for a couple more years or less.

I also want to dyno it. 118mph is in no way 380 crank up. My guess it more like 425hp
