Tilting Mirror too low?

Does anyone have an issue where the passenger-side curb-tilting mirror (when in reverse) is too low?

If I'm not mistaken, the tilt is automatic based on the normal position of your mirror. The mirror is perfectly adjusted, but when in reverse it seems entirely too low.

You can only see the immediate curb, but you need to move your body to see the rear wheel in relation to the curb (for example).

I'm used to BMW tilt mirrors and I've NEVER needed to adjust them. It's been like this since day 1.. anyone else? Any reset or ways to adjust the mirror that I don't know about?

You can turn it off by switching the right/left mirror switch to passenger.
Or you can code it 10 percentwise with bimmercode:
https://bimmercode.app/cars/g29/ mirrors.

You can program the tilt % with bimmercocde.
I think your BMW dealer can modify the setting as well.

Most of my parking is done in parking lots and not along a curb so it is more important to me to see the vehicle next to me. Therefore as mentioned above I have it set so it won't tilt.

I’ve always adjust the tilt myself.

When in R and the mirror is tilted, use the toggle to get the tilt to your desired angle.

The car will then go to the tilt angle from there on out.

You need to memorize this adjustment with the buttons on the door.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’m glad it’s available to code at the very least!

How does adjusting it with the toggle work?
