G80 M Performance Wheel for the G29

Hello

does the M3 G80 M Performance steering wheel fit in the Z4?

I think it looks nicer than the M Performance accessory steering wheel with silver stitching and red markings

?

Not sure about the fit but would guess it would physically bolt on. Issue will be how compatible the electronics are. The red buttons have no matching function in the Z4. They are engine transmission, suspension, braking & stability/traction controllers.

This my M4C standard wheel - has the optional Carbon Fiber trim & Heat. It does not have the red center stripe.

The performance wheel has the Red Stripe & Carbon Fiber trim but no Heat.

Yes, it fits.
But the heater don't work.
So my Z4 has a steering wheel for the G80 M3 series.

Curious why the heater doesn't work. Did your Z4 not have a heated wheel from the factory? Seems like it would just be a case of plugging in the pigtail from the original wheel.

I don't think it has the elements in the actual wheel that do the heating.

you can get the carbon trim for the z4 steering wheel separately too.
It's a bit expensive for just a trim piece, but all the functions you had will still work afterwards

Hey Raven,

Do you have a link for the CF wheel trim pieces and the paddles?

Thanks

the paddle shifters i got from
https://paddleshifterz.com/, they also sell the steering wheel inlay.

The trim i bought at the bmw dealership.
They also have carbon shifters but they are like the standard ones short and wide
