Have any of you guys fitted this roof module ( x car style verdeck modul fitting z4 g29) ? It seems to do the same as the smart top one from mods for cars but it’s a lot cheaper .

I haven't tried this one but had the Smart Top for my previous Miata and Minis. They worked well but I'm reluctant to pull the trigger on it for my Z4, not very good bang for the buck for the limited additional functionality. One touch open and close is nice but there's a limit to how much I'll pay for it.

Ordered the smart top today, just alone for changing the direction of the stupid button, I always get it wrong. If I could just reverse the manual shift somehow, I would be very happy, both are the opposite of every Porsche I had for the last 15 years, damn difficult to change the muscle memory.
