No Pops, Burbles in Sport Mode

I have had my 22 S30 for about 3 weeks now . Loving the car ( Will do a 1200 mile impressions later ) as my daily and I currently have about 700 miles on the the odometer . After trying in sport and sport plus modes on several occasions my vehicle simple does not have that sound that the z4 is known for . Has anyone experienced this or have any solutions ?

Are you in Sport PLUS? If you press the Sports Mode button you'll get Sport, Sport Plus and Sport Individual.

I have a G29 30 too and find that the pops and burbles appear when decelerating on a seemingly random basis. It doesn't always happen but it's good fun when it does.

Consider yourself lucky. I hate the fart machine.

Lol. I wouldn’t mind it so much if it didn’t sound scripted/recorded.

And another argument in favor of a manual transmission!

I Hit 1200 Miles and felt comfortable doing launch control. Got pretty high up on the RPMs and Heard the pops when shifting

Since then its been making the expected sounds in sport mode ..

Searched but to no avail...how can I get rid of the annoying pops and burbles in Sport+, geez what an artificial boulevard sound machine.
I read getting the Bimmerlink app will disable it, but also read it is only temporary. There isn't an option in the Bimmercode app...anyone have experience with it?

Use Sport Individual to set the settings you want. You can set everything to Sport+ except the exhaust, if you wish.

Unfortunately not, setting it to Sport in the individual setting makes the accelerator less sensitive, and indeed takes care of the burbles, but there is no setting for exhaust behavior. I like everything in Sport+, minus the pops.

The difference isn't awful, so it's kind of a trade-off. But, I do agree with you. The pops are kind of over the top.
