Yet another iDrive fault

I got in the car this evening and all of a sudden the right hand side of the instrument cluster no longer seems to work. No map in the middle, no widgets, just the rev counter.

Also, there's no sat nav instructions in the HUD, which is kind of the whole point of it.

Has anyone else had this?

Maybe you can try reboot the iDrive: when car running, press the volume knob until the screen goes blank, then release.

Thanks, I treid that yesterday but nothing happened. This morning everything was normal again as soon as I started the car.

That's good. Hope this will not appear again.
