Protect X on Frozen Gray

When i ordered my Z4 M40i in Frozen Grey, i noticed my dealer in UK added BMW Protect X to my order.
But when i look up what Protect X exactly is, i read it's a treatment to "maintain a high gloss finish". When i asked my dealer about this he said it wasn't a problem to apply this to a matte Frozen color.
Does anybody know if this is true?

whatever "BMW Protect X" is - it will be crap and applied by a monkey.

call the dealer - remove this rubbish from the order - and then get you new car ceramic paint protection - applied by a detailer who knows what they are doing.

Make sure they use something designed specifically for frozen paint.

As an example
