Pricing out g29
I'm in the middle of pricing out the new z4.. coming from a e85 with dead convertible top motor, is that issue fixed or motor relocated so its not sitting in water, anyone have idea on it, I didn't find anything off google.. thanks..
Either keep one or keep both..

I think you'll find the most comprehensive set of technical information regarding this soft top in this document here: https://g29.bimmerpost.com/forums/at...2&d=1569377335
Start at Section 6. It shows the location of all the soft top mechanicals and electronics. |

I can only speak from my experience, after a year of ownership. I live in one of the wettest regions in the United States. I’ve driven in torrential rain storms and regularly washed it. I’ve never seen, or smelled, any indication of water penetration into the body or cabin. Hopefully they learned from the design errors that plagued your E85’s top.
