Test drive, forgot to check the cabin storage! Any cup holders?

We finally drove over an hour to test drive it and forgot what we always check in cars - cup holders, glove box, etc. Looks like it's another trip back, argggggg.

Does it have cup holders in the center console?

Is it worth getting the M sport package and Adaptive M Suspension that comes automatically with the Aluminum Tetragon Trim?

BTW, the 30i has so much power it's almost scary! Could not believe it. Car is light, performs unreal for the low price. IMO there is no need to order the 40i.

Cup holders

Cup holders, centre storage and a good sized glovebox. Plus a handy pull down storage on drivers side next to steering wheel.
Yes I recommend the M Sport package and comfort access can really enjoy the different settings.
Mine is the 20i and it seems plenty fast to me. Loving the drive.

cup holders are a weak spot; you need to have half the console lid open to use them; it works but isn't ideal. glove box, etc. are small; saving grace is the behind the seat storage shelf and the little door into the trunk area.

Power/speed is relative; I came from a Jaguar F type with the supercharged V8 so the 40i seemed a bit down on power compared but still decent - I personally wouldn't want less and there is a massive difference between the 30 and 40......but they make both for a reason.

Thanks. Like watching a movie the 2nd time around later on is usually better. Price seems very reasonable too for what you get.

I drove the 3.0 and also thought it was fast. I didn't see the value for me to spend the extra $$ on the 4.0, but that is a personal preference thing. I don't ever intend to track the Z4 and only use it to commute

Never understand why expensive vehicles can't get cupholders right, at least for me. I did add a cheap modification

I don't allow food or drink in my car. If you want to drink coffee and scoff donuts catch the bus

Cup holders would be the last thing I look for in a car.

Am the same but storage space including cup holders is a consideration albeit minor.

Christened my cup holders yesterday with their first task since getting my car in June and thought of your thread Mixitt

Sometimes you just can’t beat a fountain drink coke so refreshing!
Happy with the cup holders ability to snugly hold but not compress the cup from a local restaurant chain - disclaimer other convenient restaurant chains are available
