Best times to check, on this side of the pond, are around noon and 2000 hours. Being they are about 5-6 hours ahead and giving time for the app to update.

Mine just hit the ship in Bremerhaven which will sail 27 MAY. It will enter the Atlantic on 31 May for a 15 JUN Galveston offload. I'm kinda excited. Excited for this new vert but not for a new car payment.

Outstanding! Just a couple more weeks to wait. I feel you on the new car payment. Especially right now cause stress at work has increased substantially so I’m bustin butt to make sure I can still pay for the payment lol.

Your new commute in the Z4 should be a major stress reliever

That worked for me 22 years ago. I went from no commute to a 40-minute commute through traffic. To ease the pain, I bought a brand new Z3!

So you got a G29 because your commute increased?

No such excuse for the G29

Wait! Wait! I do have an excuse for the G29. I'm a college professor and for the last year because of COVID, I've been teaching from home. But this fall, I am going to have to drive a grueling 15 minutes down a winding mountain road to campus to teach. Obviously, my old TT could have never made such a trek, so I just had to get another Z car.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

That drive just sounds... awful.. i mean .. who would want to drive a CONVERTIBLE sporty car down a winding mountain road? *sarcasm over*

Same here, when I moved to Atlanta I went from a 10 minute bike ride to a 45-55min commute on a good day. I went through a 300ZX, Audi TT then two 650i convertibles. The Z4 is replacing the last 650 now that I can get away with a two seater and I no longer have a commute. I’m looking forward to finding the winding roads...

Thanks for appreciating my sarcasm. But that is a commute I would enjoy on my HD as well.

Yes... definitely. Hard to take my mind off of it. There's an outstanding review of the S-Drive 3.0i on YouTube that I love because it really talks about all the features and gets into alot of detail. The build of the car is really similar to my own as well except for color of seats and the steering wheel warmer... ididn't get the latter because i'm in central texas. No need for it, even in the winter.

So i love the video... i keep visiting it to satisfy my hunger. But it's like drinking water when you want steak.

Thanks for the video. speaking on the steering wheel warmer, I'm eager to try it. in SE TX it does get cold enough to use it in January and February.

Admittedly, it can get chilly, but ... I've spent time in North Dakota, Korea, Virginia and Germany... takes more than Texas weather to put that kind of chill on me. Just couldn't justify the extra money for something I'll never use.

I get it and Korea was cold. The freeze last February reminded me about my time in the 2nd ID.

The funny part about the storm that shut Texas down was that it was the first weekend i had free post COVID recovery... then I was stuck in the house for 4 days in complete blackout. HAHA for 3 inches of snow. Being where I've been, I had quite the chuckle about it.
