Didn't like the dirt that collected in the letters, nor did I care to pluck out any more old dirty towel strings, courtesy of an un-named HOU dealer that was asked not to wash the car, that also rocked the badging just enough to make little marks in the clear coat. So much happier with the clean and smooth look and feel (and never going back to that dealer). Don't have to worry about microfibers snagging, dirt accumulating, etc.

I have a large seamless microfiber cloth that works great. Won't snag, fritter, absorbs a huge amount of water and with one wringing out will dry the car spot free.
Ah.....so old school though. Now it's blasting the car with rainwater driven by a high pressure pump system and then hitting the highway 200' out the gate at 70 mph for a quick dry. . |

I have an electric leaf blower that will be perfect. I have a 55gal storage tank that is always full of RO/DI water for my saltwater aquarium. I was considering plumbing it to an electric pressure washer for rinsing the car. I have a honda gas powered pressure washer but that seems more fuss than it’s worth to bring it out.

Not for me. One thing I did notice like the 330 & 430 debadges it seems to be more popular with the 4 cylinder cars.

G29 diffuser & tips already show cylinder count. Really just an aesthetic change.

For me its about getting rid of the Sdrive billboard on the back. It's really not needed and IMHO ugly
Edit to add: I got her back today, the shop didn't debadge it, so it looks like I'm keeping it, especially since the ceramic coating i complete Last edited by BRIANXIX; 02-05-2022 at 08:55 PM.. |

Also would expect non BMW people think the cars are ranked by BMW according to their numbers. Maybe I notice it more because BMW sells a lot more 330's than M340's so by default there will be more debadged 330's Not really interested in gluing all that stuff back on when the car is to be sold. Will agree the AWD logo is fugly & one badge too many. I could be tempted to remove it if I had one. My bottom line on any take-offs or add-ons is its your car do what makes you happy.

Mine was built with factory option that deletes model designation badges. Think look is more common and perceived differently in other markets.
