auto performance shops in Tacoma area

Can anyone recommend any auto performance shops in the Puyallup/Tacoma area? There is Kassel Motorsports in Puyallup but they seem to not want to perform any services for customers that have their own parts. Thanks

I think you will find that is pretty common to almost all shops. Lack of familiarity, potential support and liability for parts they don't carry is a huge detriment.

If you're installing random aftermarket stuff, your best best is probably one of the "speed shops" like Fastlane 2 in Tacoma.

I know this is going to sound weird, but when I had an aftermarket exhaust for my MR2, I just went to Midas (in Lakewood) and they did it with no objections.

These days I'd probably stick BMW parts and have it done somewhere like Eastside Bavarian in Issaquah.

Midas or Firestone are probably good places for installing your aftermarket exhaust components. Anything you give them is probably better than what they use.
