Suggest you go test drive them. Keep in mind the cls63 is slower then the 55 :/
Personally...nothing beats the V10 scream. Would suit you more... since you can do A lot with a M5

Agree. I love e60s m5s but any day I take e55/63, CLS 55/63 over M5.

i would give the nod to the CLS, ive heard the CLS 55 AMG before on the street, and it sounds magnificant, and i am sure it will be easier to live with from day to day with a mercedes

Where can you get an E60 M5 with a manual transmission? Not SMG, but actual manual?

Exterior-wise, both cars are gorgeous. However I don't like the interior of Benz's, even the AMG ones so I would go with the M5.

They only made the manual m5 available in the US. Problem with it is that they do not let you fully disable DSC. Their is quite a big difference in the 0-60 times of the SMG III m5 with the manual m5.

My buddy down here at University of Oregon drives a CLS63. That car sounds AMAZING. Such a baller car too. I think for me it'd be a CLS by a little ...
