Pac-Man is a maze arcade game developed and released by Namco in 1980. The original Japanese title of Puck Man was changed to Pac-Man for international releases as a preventative measure against defacement of the arcade machines by changing the P to an F.

All it was is a handle with a narrow roll of waxed paper. When you snapped it, the paper would extend in a lightsaber manner. It was cool, until it got bent, or whatever else happened to it. We had some rather junk toys back then, but we wanted them.
