I sold my 911 GTS PDK 2 weeks back and will get a Z4 M40i auto next week. Nothing wrong with the 911, it was just the Z4 is better suited for my kind of usage.
On the Porsche forums there is a constant rattle of MT owners saying PDK is rubbish. If you want to change gears, fine. I don't.

Why am i like a child waiting for christmas morning for this thread to have your impressions of the car. On a plus side while mine was in for the 30k service they had a used supra manual i took for a test drive. What fun with the B58 and manual can’t wait.

This is so true. The 6MT transformed my experience with the G80 M3, and I think it would do the same in the Z4. It’s really sad that BMW is killing off manuals. Maybe they need a leadership change.

They already screwed me out of the adaptive headlights. Told them I absolutely wanted them and they said no worries it’s part of the shadow line that’s included.

After it entered the production line they confirmed it would not have them, and “oops they’re sorry.”

Still can’t wait to get the car though.

It’s exciting to see that OP has his car! I love the M seatbelts.

Just to temper expectations, t̶h̶e̶ M̶ s̶e̶a̶t̶b̶e̶l̶t̶s̶ a̶r̶e̶ o̶n̶l̶y̶ p̶a̶r̶t̶ o̶f̶ t̶h̶e̶ C̶o̶g̶n̶a̶c̶ i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶i̶o̶r̶ w̶i̶t̶h̶ t̶h̶e̶ b̶l̶a̶c̶k̶ d̶o̶o̶r̶ c̶a̶r̶d̶s̶ I̶ w̶a̶s̶ p̶r̶e̶v̶i̶o̶u̶s̶l̶y̶ m̶e̶n̶t̶i̶o̶n̶i̶n̶g̶. I don't believe you should expect M seatbelts in your build.

But yeah that whole saga with the headlights is on the dealer. A cursory read of the ordering guide would tell you the adaptive headlights are on the "Shadowline package" and not on the "extended Shadowline trim".
