I love blues on BMWs but neither color seems to fit the look of this car.

What up with BMW's color choices?

If there ever was a vehicle that screamed for BMW's sexiest colors its the Z4. Two silvers, two whites, a black, boring red and a blue from the X2. The Frozen red on the M40i looked brownish under the show lights in LA. loved the gold color of the concept car... Frankly the new 3 has far better color choices.

Also the trims are so boring. Why no wood? I happen to think that a roadster needs wood.

I love the design and traveled to the LA auto show to sit in it. I am planning to get a M40i in the spring but really BMW- give this car the colors it deserves.

Wonder if you will be able to get it in individual colors?

That's why they do it, so you go with the individual program.

Wood trim in a sports car? First I've heard of this.

Classic Roadster Look? Sure, I could see that. But honestly, with the modern high tech cabin, the available choices seem to be better suited. And the piano black is probably close to wood?

Yep this is interesting. The e85 Z4 crowd is always trying to find the aluminum trim to replace the wood trim. Personally, I never cared for the wood trim in the roadster.
