Collection Day!!
Quite a traumatic trip overall to collect but what a drive home…LOVE IT!

Z4M40i pretty much every option.
Skyscraper on Black with Cerium left in for a change, also won the tyre lottery and it’s Michelin.

I actually collected from the team at Motech Performamce as it was in for lowering springs, spacers and detail work.

Love the height it sits at now.

Bring on the weekend ☀️

Wheel and trim combo is absolutely on point! Looks fantastic, congrats. Shadowline everything still looks great, don't get me wrong; but I feel like that look is getting a bit long in the tooth.

I love the cerium, as I think it’s unique. I wish they hadn’t bundled the adaptive lights with the Shadowline package for 2023. I wanted the lights, so ended up having to get the Shadowline trim.

Congratulations, great looking build. What lowering springs to you get, curious if I might add them....

And for me it looks like the next vessel (Arc Independence) left from Bremerhafen today without my car...week 4 of waiting, here we come

Thank you. Eibach lowering springs -20mm front and back. 12mm spacers all round.
Motech said they’ve done a video of it with before and after shots so I’ll post that up when they release.

Happy waiting Well worth it!

Thank you both. Don’t get wrong I’m a shadow line guy through and through but have had so much black on cars it’s time for a change. As a quick example here’s the car with some black wheels on the Motech guys were kind enough to show me. Same drop etx but the look for me on my spec, isn’t as good.

PS sorry about the continual pictures everyone (even the Mod Y) I do just love cars and always think pictures say it better.

Hi, thinking of getting one of these. Can't get rid of the itch, and it's spring/summer....after a terrible winter.
Is this a good time? I understand the LCI is recent from...2022?
Are there any plans for a revmap next year and I should just wait?
Seems like lead times are long even if I order one now.

Thank you!!

I also love the look of the Shadowline effect on most colors but because you ordered the Cerium to compliment your SSG I think you made the correct choice for the wheels especially with it having the blue calipers..

Your car is beautiful and please forgive me if asked you this previously, are you adding either PPF and/ or ceramic coating?

Rumor is that Z4 will cease being produced in 2026, no changes anticipated from what I have gathered with the exception of a possible manual stick version

The only other possible change might be some new colors.

Great news for me. No time like the present!!!!
Would definitely love to get this before they end the production line! I didn't even know that was in the plans.
An electric Z4 would be crazy though

As noted we probably won't see further changes of any kind to the Z4, except an alleged manual version. (Which I'll believe only if I see it.)

You should be able to pay no more than MSRP but probably not more than 3-4% under. Check cars.com etc., see if you find one that meets your preferences. Maybe even a CPO model with a few thousand miles. Otherwise, ordering will be a few months.

The 19th has come and gone. Picked it up last Friday at the Performance Center. No pics yet, I have to get them from my wife. She was the designated photographer although she didn't take many, this day was about the experience.

For those of you that haven't taken advantage of the PCD, it is well worth the added travel expense. I highly recommend it. The only downside is the Marriott you stay in is a little long in the tooth and there is no neighborhood to explore outside the hotel. Using a hotel in downtown Greenville would be so much better.

Still learning about the car. Setting up the dashboard they way I want it. Also still in the break-in period. I'll post a few pics later.

Hi, debating on getting a 2023 M40i now shipped form another dealer to mine, vs waiting for a 2024, I'll be waiting about 6 months for the next winter to pass then put in my order.

Is there any word on any changes for the 2024 model?
Switch to the new iDrive? seems unlikely
Any more facelift changes?

Thanks!

1) no changes
2) where are you located? I know of perfectly specced car on the lot. DM me and I'll give you the backstory on it!
Edit: On mobile, I couldn't see that you were down in TX. Car I'm referring to is up in the North East, but like I said, it's perfect and worth the shipping expense IMO.

I actually moved up to North Dakota....Mid West!
Hence there's only 6-8 months a year I can use this car!

I seriously doubt that there will be any major changes and the prices could possibly go up again so look around for a 2023 model loaded with the options that you would want.

Forget about one dealer shipping to another, if there isn't anything available nearby I would look out of state and plan a road trip home which would be a wonderful way to break in the car.
