Mine just hit the ship in Bremerhaven which will sail 27 MAY. It will enter the Atlantic on 31 May for a 15 JUN Galveston offload. I'm kinda excited. Excited for this new vert but not for a new car payment. |

That worked for me 22 years ago. I went from no commute to a 40-minute commute through traffic. To ease the pain, I bought a brand new Z3!

Wait! Wait! I do have an excuse for the G29. I'm a college professor and for the last year because of COVID, I've been teaching from home. But this fall, I am going to have to drive a grueling 15 minutes down a winding mountain road to campus to teach. Obviously, my old TT could have never made such a trek, so I just had to get another Z car.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Same here, when I moved to Atlanta I went from a 10 minute bike ride to a 45-55min commute on a good day. I went through a 300ZX, Audi TT then two 650i convertibles. The Z4 is replacing the last 650 now that I can get away with a two seater and I no longer have a commute. I’m looking forward to finding the winding roads...

Admittedly, it can get chilly, but ... I've spent time in North Dakota, Korea, Virginia and Germany... takes more than Texas weather to put that kind of chill on me. Just couldn't justify the extra money for something I'll never use.

I get it and Korea was cold. The freeze last February reminded me about my time in the 2nd ID.

The funny part about the storm that shut Texas down was that it was the first weekend i had free post COVID recovery... then I was stuck in the house for 4 days in complete blackout. HAHA for 3 inches of snow. Being where I've been, I had quite the chuckle about it.
