I just watched this youTube video and was impressed.

Darkside is also on my list for when my Adam's Graphene tire runs out. So many products out there to try, a detail supply shop needs to start selling mini "tester" kits so we can try out all the different products without going broke!

By the way, does anyone have a recommendation for a good applicator to use with Darkside?

I will probably use the same thing I sue now with Perl, a applicator like this. I also have a hex applicator but I don't use it since my tires are to low profile.

Great minds think alike, that is the applicator I currently use with Perl. 👍🏻

I've been eyeing one of these. Though if you use this as a tire coat applicator, would you feel comfortable using it on your paint later on?

I would think it to be extremely hard to clean it once you used a product like Perl or Darkside.

I would have more than one brush if I expect to use 1 on paint.

Yeah, I would think I'd need 3 brushes total (wheels, ext., int.). Not necessarily the curveball, but the DF soft brushes would work too.

I used some spray on Turtle Wax Ceramic Hybrid graphene product on my wife's Telluride over two months ago, and the paint still feels wet to the touch. Took 1.5hrs to wash, clean, spray on the coating, and then wipe it clean.

Stuff cost $25/bottle and is awesome.

I watched pretty much a lot of detailing content year ago, started with interior and decided to polish my F02 myself. Bought Rupes Mark lll, honestly didn't want to invest too much in chemicals that would just sit on the shelf and expire. I can't recall which YouTuber recommended it, but I got a detailing kit from https://getundrdog.com/. Results appeared to be great honestly, I even applied coating in my shower and still using their towels at home. I see they got some new stuff, so next summer will try it on my father's car too.

Unless I overlooked it, I didn’t see any mention of Adam’s Polish.
Is that a brand to stay away from?

Adam' offers a great line of products - I use many of them. Their DIY ceramic coating product is also good.

Like most companies, Adam's gets their stuff mixed by B&B. Perfectly good stuff, go with whoever is cheaper (shine supply, chemical guys, Adam's, jay leno, etc...)

I don;t normally buy Adam's, but their iron remover gallon was on sale for $50 with a free 16oz bottle added plus $10 off so $40 total for 144oz; it's a killer deal. Normally I buy Griot's (and I think it's a bit better), but it's $80, by comparison (for 128oz).

25% off sitewide Adam's code is LUCKY - st patrick's day

Is Zaino still around? I figured most people would've moved on and use newer products with ceramic and graphene that easier, less labor intensive, and looks just as good as Zaino.
