M40i vs Supra B58 engine performance
Is the B58 used in the 2021 Supra now the same as the Z4 with 6 exhaust ports instead of 2? First year Supra owners are going to be pissed...

I'think' so Rob yes, just form casual press/forum reading. Not sure of the precise engine naming designation/variant that get attached to the B58 code though.
It is strange though as lots of the early YouTube drag races, if we cal them that, did show the Supra pulling way above it's official specs.

The 2021 Supra will be using the B58-T0-D engine, the same as the Z4 M40i. It still only has 2 exhaust ports on the side of the block because the exhaust manifold is incorporated into the block. The 2 ports on the side of the block are to split the exhaust banks for the twin scroll turbo.
