This is in the corporate world! No crap, there are over 75% vegans, just as many LGBTQ, and only two non-millennials in their department's group of 15 or so. As for their work ethics, let's just say that a lot of time is spent chatting in a circle while consuming vegan baked goods.....

I'm enjoying the fact that it's now socially acceptable for me to tell people to get out of my space.......6ft. Away people!

Honestly sometimes I wish I picked a major where doing stuff like that could fly and get me paid. It really isn't like civil engineering is paying great either so I really screwed myself over with that haha

I was out a little while ago running a critical errand, and some idiot came in the door where I was and crowded up less than a foot behind me in line. I made a violent step away/sideways, to give him the hint. About 30 seconds later, he invaded my social distancing bubble a second time and I stepped away/back violently again to give him another hint. Maybe I should have coughed in his direction without covering my mouth to deliver the hint?????

Sitting on the beach right now. It got as high as 86 degrees today. People are running around in swim suits. This is really bizarre for Delaware beaches in March.

Another top down joyride today. Way too many people still on the road. Also, there was a guy on a motorcycle dressed as Evel Knievel. Apocalypse now!

Got laid off this morning. Looks like I'll be working on my car today and looking for a new job. Ugh

California better know what they are doing with this statewide shut down.

I think LA and San Fran are excellent indicators of the direction California is going, those two cities seem to be the trial run for the zombie apocalypse.

Good Luck with the job hunt, keep your head down.

Something like that. It's only a matter of time until everyone else follows with similar regulations. I guess I'm not the only one that got laid off. Just heard from other people that the same happened to them.

Cities shut down and many people lose their jobs.
It's not good but I understand the precaution.

Yeah, so much for the "no mass gatherings". Grocery stores are full of people. It's ridiculous

I went to smaller mom and pop markets. They had a strict no more than 10 people inside and made sure we stayed 6 feet apart. I got what I needed an a short amount of time.

That's nice, agree Costco is a cluster and lot of these places part of the problem.

Finished a project for my client today, and I'm now temporarily retired. Making the best of it nonetheless.

Jameson soda to the rescue.

I love it. With my favorite bean ground coarse and filtered water, it truly makes the best cup of coffee I've ever had, and I've drunk coffee all over the world. I got turned on to the Moccamaster when I spent time in Finland. The Finns are rabid coffee drinkers, and that's their first choice of coffee maker. It's also starred in America's Test Kitchen coffee maker reviews.

I've always wanted to try one of those. I do love a good cup of coffee, but I'm into the rum right now.

Go for it! You can get coffee makers for less, but you can spend a hell of a lot more too.
