Bmw needs to chill on this crazy design language. I miss the old Bmw styling where everything was simple :/

I'll never really understand the deviation of concept to production. Exterior alone, it's simply a matter of bending metal/aluminum and molding plastics/CFRP. No more difficulty either way. My guess is BMW thinks concepts are too eccentric for the masses. I happen to love their concepts, well most of them [looking at you X7]. Meh.

The concept doesn't but that magazine render sure does. Just awful.

I followed an E89 this morning, it sure isn't a sporty looking car. There was a Boxster nearby that looked 5/8 scale in comparison. |

Oops, was referencing a US only site, 6,291 total. I had mine for 14 years, the only BMW I've owned that I really loved (looking at you, sad F30). I test drove the Z4 MC a number of times and various Caymans and always enjoyed mine more. Plus it would carry a keg, like it was designed around it.

I think the new Z will be recived very well with it's fanbase, about the same level as the new 8 i think. The E89 was not very impressive or sporty, this is pretty much back to E85. About the ZM, Let's wait and see, the real deal are going to be shown real soon, then let's judge it.

I can imagine BMW with Toyota in a room saying "OK, you guys build the coupe, and we'll build the roadster. Agreed? Good. Let's do this." I miss my Z4 M Coupe.
