I kept mine blue to match the Milano Blue exterior. Also I lowered the brightness setting of the lights as I was getting glare on my windows while driving at night.

Happy now that winter is coming, I get to drive more when it gets darker for the ambient lighting to shine. During the day (especially with top down) can't see any color even on brightest setting. |

Sun came out today and went for a nice ride to get some of those break in miles done. Of course it snowed a small amount the night before again. To all the skiers in Vermont your welcome if I didn’t buy a rwd convertible we still wouldn’t have any snow yet.

Just swapped them out today. The roads were pretty dry in most places and just parking lots were really wet. Rained all day so got some driving in today.

Now you have the best of both worlds. In the summer the all black will look great and in the winter the new ones with the change of tires will officially signal the change of seasons!

By the way, have you considered ordering a personalized license plate for your unicorn?
I think it deserves one! |

I am going to wait a bit. I have a custom plate for the front with my Vermont plate number. But the dealer was nice enough to not drill the bumper for the bracket. Vermont mandates front plates but they haven’t been enforcing it so I will wait until I’m up for renewal. And see how it goes. That will give me time to think of a cool plate for it.

As far as the active cruise control, there are cameras that do that up where the rear view mirror is and off to the side on the front bumper, see link: https://ownersmanuals2.com/bmw-auto/...82501/page-183 |
