The very first time on the highway after PPF install a huge piece of insulation flew up in front of my car with no way around it. It hit the bumper and went under the car. I had no damage. Then a truck in the lane next to me dropped a lump of dried dirt that flew across all the lanes, including mine. Again, no damage. I would say it’s worth it.

Dayum right... many more to come too. Tomorrow, I'm finally taking my boy out for one of them scenic drives I was talking about and i plan on filming it and posting the video. More to follow.
Of course I'm gonna look silly driving around with a contraption around my head to do said filming. |

My car installed the PPF a month ago, yesterday was the day to bring into the BMW dealer for PPF inspection and trimming off the excess edges.
The car was washed before the PPF detailing. The dealer advised not to wash the car for 30 days to prevent the water goes in between the PPF and paint. So this is actually the first car wash after we pick her up. The detailing was done. She is so beautiful! Dealer has this device to disinfect the car (to prevent Covid-19). Very cool. ---------------------------------- This is my very first car to get a PPF. It was very expensive, but I have no regrets. Car cleaning was so easy, despite the fact I couldn't wash it with water. With a duster, I can get all the dusts and rain marks off without effort (kind of like a "dry wash"). The only thing I have to worry now is the rag top. If you have the budget, I would strongly recommend the PPF, especially for the Frozen Gray color. Cheers! |

It is certainly nice they have done that. It was quite dusty inside there with only 600km of driving. |
