Z4 Build Location

Any idea where the 2022 Z4 M40i are built? I was told overseas (Europe) from one dealer and another told me South Carolina.

All Z4s are built in Magna Steyer factory in Graz Austria. Together with Toyota Supra.

Some unrequested advice. Don't use the dealer who doesn't know where his/her cars are built!

In all honesty, most Sales people don't know much about the cars they are selling outside of the sales brochure.

Some are depending on where they are headed. Or if your picking up at the vehicle delivery center in SC. Mine is in New Jersey awaiting the receiver audio module. Hopefully the part will be there soon.

I have owned 3 BMW's in my life and each time the salesman promised me that the car would attract a beautiful co-pilot once I took delivery.

Would think your would come in through the New Jersey VPC. All my PCD's came in at Charleston, SC.

The M4C is a dealer delivery in NC & the car is in the Brunswick GA VPC waiting on a RAM.

Mine is coming in through Baltimore.

Where it will wait for who knows how long on a Receiver Audio Module to be delivered and installed.

I'm still hoping by Christmas.
