^ Nice! One of my favorite places...

If you're looking to venture further out, Clancy's is a local favorite and another one of my favorites is Patois. The grilled lamb ribs are amazing!

Save the time, go to City Market in Luling, just off I-10 before you get to SA.

If you are feeling adventurous, take 90 when leaving S.A. it will take you del Rio, cross the border for the donkey show. In all seriousness, 90 will take you to a few awesome small towns with great history- marathon, alpine and marfa. From marfa, head south to presidio. From presidio head to lajitas for some golf, shooting, riding and RNR. Take a day trip and ck out terlingua while staying at lajitas.

Well just moved to another state park (St Bernard) since I could only get 2 nights at the other. Haven't had a chance to do anything else in NOLA. Yesterday was raining all day so stayed in RV and worked all day. Today we moved to the new park and will head out later to explore. Will be here until Monday then we will continue heading west.

I must say though, NOLA has by far the shittiest streets I've come across so far. Shitty asshole drivers also. I was about ready to murder someone on the drive to this park. Especially when towing the RV.

Need to go eat some good shit to relax!

Yep, Louisiana has terrible roads in general...it got that way because they held onto the 18 year old drinking age for a while after most other states switched to 21. Because of that, the federal government withheld funds for infrastructure until they changed it.
