Everyone's taste is their own, and I would never criticize another person's choices, but I can tell you the Misano blue is gorgeous in person. I don't think you would regret it. Regarding all the rest, I did add the $700 Driver's Assist, even though I may turn them off if they annoy me. While I don't plan on selling my car (when/if it arrives) for a LONG time, that feature is only like 1% of the total cost and would be more desirable if I wanted to pass the car down to one of my kids.

No overhead, surround, etc. Rear view only. Beeping rare. Saved me from several accidents. No lane related vibration with that off which is my preferred setting. Wheel will vibrate if blind spot issue. Possible setting choice. Forget.

Excellent point, you can turn the vibration off.

If you think that blue is wonderful, they should allow you to choose the blue on the new 2 series. That is a gorgeous blue you can dive into.

One of my best friends just took delivery of a M240i in Portimao Blue and when we put my Misano Blue Z4 side by side with his car they look equally beautiful.

Color is very subjective and there is no wrong choice if you really like the color. 😉

Production scheduled for week 14, so I still have time to add it to the build.
I would also recommend ACC. If you plan on keeping the car I would also recommend PPF and ceramic coating.

Your's looks awesome.

Mine is a lease and I usually trade in early (2014 f30, 2016 f80, 2018 f80 ZCP, 2020 X3M comp) so not sure I want to drop a couple of grand on PPF.

I do annual detail myself (decon, clay, polish, wax, seal) and thats good enough. I do 3 bucket wash every 2 weeks, leaf blower dry, Collinite 845

I honestly thought I would be driving M3s for the rest of my life but then g80/g80 came out with that face. Disbelief and devastation to say the least.

Looking forward to G29!

Thanks. This is the first car I’ve purchased that I plan to keep. That’s why it was worth the investment in PPF and ceramic coating and I’ve been really happy with the results so far.

I ended up turning off the lane keeping feature because it kept activating when I was centered in my lane and I drove over an asphalt crack which had been filled with tar. The car wanted to follow the tar filled crack and move me out of my lane. Doesn't seem to be ready for prime time to me.

How's the wheel gap? Any plans to lower it or put spacers on?

It is subjective. I like the darker, deeper blue though.

It also depends on the actual model of the car, trim, wheels, lighting...

I find it more annoying than helpful.

Agree. In your opinion then, does the PB look better on the Z4 than MB? Assume your pick of rims and interior.

I think lighter, baby blues really benefit from all black wheels, trim, badging etc. I really loved my YMB f80. When I first saw YMB online, I thought nothing of it. A few months later I saw it at C&C and fell in love. Baby blues look more fun.
PB and TB look more classy and elegant.

That said, I haven't seen either in real life.

I like my Misano Blue Z4, but, if I was able, I would have ordered it with the color of my Camaro SS which I traded in for the Z4.

BMW has never had great choice of colors. On top of that online builder colors look cartoonish.

If Yas Marina Blue had been offered I would have selected it without any hesitation. IMHO, it is one of the best colors that BMW has ever offered. Every time I seen one on the road I am jealous!

Thank you. Funny thing, I just recalled I never owned a blue car. Mostly greys, silvers, and Mineral Grey Metallic.

The latter was on my M235 vert and wish it was a choice for the Z4. I asked to do it individual and was summarily dismissed.
