Smudge10 reported that got on the Hawaiian Highway after 3.5 weeks at port. Also, FWIW.

First world problems. It's really not a big deal, but the unpredictability of it all is frustrating.

Ha, sorry. Not trying to be a negative Nancy. Tracker was great until it got up to this point. Could use a little more detail.

I agree, but it's unlikely to get better. Too may different players and BMW doesn't really have much leverage to get more visibility.

Many years ago when I was in the USAF, we had to commercially ship some equipment between the US and Germany. The transportation people are good at their jobs, but it is quite convoluted with all the different players involved. And even with authorization for air freight it took over 6 weeks. I'm happy that BMW has provided the tracker despite its shortcomings.

Went back into “in transit” this afternoon. I’m staying calm since we’ve played this game before. Who knows… fingers crossed.

I certainly hope it doesn't. Hopefully they start moving through the port much faster. Checking some old threads in other forums, the time 'at the port' has been typically just a few days. It may not be 'back to normal' but it shouldn't be a month waiting for a ship.

My car has been there for 4 days. Looking at your VINs, I'm about 3k behind you. That's 3 ships full of nothing but Z4s.

Yeah, I saw similar threads were people were at the port 5 days or so. When mine originally showed at the port on 3/3, I was guessing I’d have it by this week at the latest based on that. Not sure what the deal is.

I’m #17492. I was at the port for a month until switching back to in transit again yesterday. Hopefully I actually got on the boat this time.

I've said this on someone else's photos of their SSG, but I'm gonna say it again. I prefer a color any day on a car to black/white/gray, but this looks fantastic. Had I seen this color combination before I ordered mine I would have very strongly considered it. Congrats and enjoy!!
