These cars don’t hold their value. Well played!

Wow. Look at that garage! Is that a GT in the foreground?

It's a 2008 RS60 Boxster Spyder. 6-speed. Low miles. Selling because of multiple knee surgeries. Needed an automatic. That's why I bought this beautiful Z4. What a great car!

Thanks for the comments. I do like the Skyscraper Gray, but with Magma Red interior and the red brake calipers. Color choices are very limited on the Z4. I would have liked to have chosen an Individual Color, but the price was too good on this 23 model and BMW does not offer Z4's with Individual Colors.

And what's the little red thing living in the first floor apartment behind the Z?

It's a 1965 230SL 4-speed. Very original car that just had a complete engine rebuild. I've owned a bunch of MB W113 Pagodas. Probably the best of the 1960's production sports cars. My favorites are the 230SL 4-speeds. They perform as well as the 280SL's.

Settle down. 250CE 5 speed is better in virtually every way than any pagoda unless you want the top down. 230 motor has a four main bearing crank, lots of Highway time will wear it down. The later seven main bearing crank motors were much longer lived.

Also a 300SEL 6.3 is a pretty fun sixties MB…

Not knocking your 230, they’re great with three pedals, but saying “best of 60’s sports cars is a big claim even if you limit it only to German ones.

That's why I said "Sports Cars". Very hard to find any mass production two seater from the sixties that was better than the W113's. Now, back to Z4's
