Im not a fan of the EvoX body and not a fan of the 5Spd manual....

Id say get a 135i or 370Z.. or you could always get a Lotus like Squeak was thinkn bout..

the mini was a used one. when dealers tell me certain restrictions i do respect them, like when i test drove the M3. but they didnt say i had to drive them easy or anything. i mean im buying a car, i have to test drive it like im going to drive it every day. idk how else i can do it bro

But if you insist on getting something within reason for payments, I'd suggest the EVOX:

Wingless :

In my opinion, it'll give you what you're looking for with the looks to beat an STi.

EDIT: I realized that I just showed you pics of all modded EVOX's. BAD! You're supposed to be budgeting your $$. lol
those are sick looking man. i love those!

dude, STI. done

you don't get the evo MR in 6MT anymore iirc, so that outs the best car there.

what about the genesis coupe from hyundai later? if not, i think you'll like the 370Z best

How about getting something REALLY cheap like a used POZS for 1K bucks. Save a ton of money, then sell the POS for 1K bucks when you're ready to get back into a car you're really happy with. If I could do it over again, I'd never have bought my last 10 cars. I'd have stuck with the 1997 Camry and now I'd have saved enough for a Ferrari F430 or have 25% smaller mortgage.

well im not laid off yet, im just taking preventive measures and im pissed that im paying more than everyone else for my car. i also love cars so this is an excuse for me to buy a fun little car, then come back and get a nice car like another M3, or RS5 or something later this year

well it's not a bad looking car. u get a lot for the buck. 19" wheels, xenon lights, the rear-wheel-drive to all-wheel-drive feature, the rear wheel steering, pretty darn good interior, nice navi and other gadgets, the exhaust note, and not bad of an engine. the 2009 with 7 speed are not slow like before, i believe they hit a 0-60 in 4.9 or so. and those lease for less than 400 bucks i think.

what kind of numbers did you get?

by no means is it a bad car its just not for me i love my torque in the lower RPM's like how bmw's do it with the G you reach them at almost redline. the numbers i did were a 3 year lease 12kmiles sports,navi,7mt,heated front seats and somethin else i forgot the name of it but with 2800down it worked about to be 420a month.

370Z would be my choice.

STi is now a fail because of the hatchback only chassis and the quad exhausts (1 tip per cylinder? LOL).

EVOX is nice, but it's definitely lost it's touch when compared to the EVO9. The EVO9 is far more fun to drive.

135i would be the choice I would pick if I have to stick with something German.

S2000 is outdated.

G37 is pointless because I would never torture someone with the backseat. The trunk is retarded small. Might as well go for the 370z.

MCS is FWD and the fun is just ruined when you are used to a high performance RWD.

Z4M, there is a reason why this car is still untitled for 2007s. It's engine is too old and it is out performed easily by cars much cheaper. It's body style is also getting replaced this year.

GTi is not a choice if the 135i is within reach.

You are in I.T.?

You may need to look into a nice bicycle. I just cut on the news here in Dallas. Texas Instruments just let 2,000 people go here....most were I.T.
