But that's even worse: shark with one gill would clearly be either disabled or stillborn altogether. No wonder it looks like that.

Agreed. Although, I would be happy if they just made San Francisco red a bit more metallic. Something more like Maserati's Rosso Vincente.

I didn't like the color contrast but do like the functional vent, hence my choice of black. BMW really should have had a body color option for it and some of the other pieces.

I think I’m going to go for red over cognac. I considered thundernight, but I keep coming back to the red…..

I would like Thundernight more if it was a bit lighter. It looks great in the sunlight, but it's just another generic dark-colored car when it's in the shade.

If BMW did custom colors, I’d get my Z4 manual in either Phoenix or Austin Yellow Metallic.

My Ducati 1098 was yellow too. Nothing wrong with red, but everyone has a red Ducati.

I'd been targeting a dark blue with brown interior for almost forever. The greens are interesting, but would still be w/ brown interior for me. White is still a possibility, I always thought my 135i looked a bit like a Star Wars Stormtrooper on wheels.

Unless they add a new blue color it looks like a Portimao Blue/ Cognac Z4 is headed your way. 😉

They don't seem different enough to justify the vast cost of going individual.

But I suppose pictures can be very deceptive when it comes to paint.

SFR over cognac is a wonderful combo. I considered it too.

It varies a lot based on lighting, the camera/phone used, each user's camera settings, and the device being viewed in.

Perhaps take it off and have it painted? From what I recall about the body panels, they don't look too difficult to remove.

RavenGX would likely be an expert on that.

It's definitely possible.

Mine got re-painted black i think when i repainted the car since they had minor scratches. i've seen some other people paint them silver like in the F-series.

The silver is not really my thing, but it could be a nice contrast on a dark blue or dark purple i guess

Body color should also work, i personally like the black accent.

You can't rely on the typical computer monitor to accurately show color for comparisons.

I have my laptop going into a wide screen & the pictures of the same car do not match each other.

Good enough for government work but not to spend $2,000 to $5,000 extra while picking out a paint color.

You absolutely positively need to see the actual spray outs in person outside in the sunlight.

I have pictures' of my 440 coupe in Mineral Gray & the M4C in Dravit Gray. Pictures are a pretty close match. Side by side in the sun they would be very different.

I also considered thundernight, but for me this color is too dark in most conditions. Purple is only visible on a very sunny day, I guess many people consider this as advantage. Although the funny thing is that in all the press photos this color is very bright

If it looked like this irl, I wouldn't think twice and pick it over red

I test drove a red 30i with tan interior. It's a great combination. For me, though, the red was too 'flat', but I would have covered it in matte PPF if I chose red (have a red truck, so...couldn't do that).

How old is this info?

I've just now noticed that this infographic is from August 2022 !?!?!?!

I wonder how much of this is still true...

Personally I would classify it in the conjecture section atm. I’m a little cynical about these kinds of “leaks” and believe that we will have the information when it’s officially available and anything before that needs to be taken a heavy dosage of salt.

But who knows, maybe it’s absolutely accurate 🤷‍♂️

Based upon other articles I've read, I believe it is predominantly accurate.

The name at the bottom of the screenshot checks out.

Previous created Powerpoint templates can get recycled and updated with new information depending on the presentation. It's often more efficient vs starting from scratch for every new training session. It doesn't necessarily mean the text is from 2022, just when the template was created. I've done this many times throughout my career.

You may have nailed it. Carbon Fiber trim offered only with Cognac looks like a good bet.
