Yes yes, Fiat 124 Spyder is what I meant. As you know, the 124 and the Miata share the same platform! That being said, the new Z4 looks like a cute little convertible! I can definitively see my wife in one to grab brunch with the ladies!

Here's the side - this one was a pain to get the nose-end just to the level of "okay," because the angle is completely different.

Had a few issues with this one too - particularly around the bottom, but at least these photoshop version are a bit more accurate for people to judge.

I'm hoping the G29 looks better in person, or in the final production photos, than it does in the leaked pics. Preliminary reports are that its likely to be a capable performer, so it would be nice if its also a looker. We'll see I guess.

Re the E89, I think its bad rep is somewhat over-stated. I'm an E85 owner which I love, but I always thought the E89 was a great looking car. Re its performance, didn't Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear drive it and, after commenting that its twin turbos were like "testes, big meaty ones", say that if he had to live with just one car, it would be the E89?

Rear end looks the best, the rest of it is a mixed bag. Also why are they getting rid of the halo ring DRLs those are my favorite design part of modern BMWs

Are those two little half circles supposed to mimic that instead?

The first leaked pictures always makes the cars look subpar. When we see it in flesh, it will be a different Animal. Looking at these pictures, i think we can say, it will be a very Nice Z this time around! The E89 was to feminin and soft, having a softtop and a more sporty look, it will do itself much more justice. Good work BMW, oh and one more thing, the rear end lights, you have finally made them more sporty, but still more elegant. It was always BMW weak point, not so anymore!

For me, the thing that really looks "off" is the high-gloss, black finishings. Makes it looks cheap and toy-like.

It’s all about the hood line. Placing it in the correct spot would improve the front a lot!
