It is the principle of having the last word with your salesman when you are closing the deal. Many years ago I started walking out of an Oldsmobile dealer when they refused and was stopped by the sales manager at the front door. Needless to say, they gave me the mats. 😜

It’s standard practice for dealers of all makes in Thailand to provide rubber mats free of charge. Also one years free first class insurance. Any dealer not doing it soon loses business.

For anyone unaware, BMW's online accessories store is horridly inaccurate with regard to fitment. Some accessories will display that are clearly incompatible with your model while other compatible accessories won't be presented or will only be presented for some model years despite being compatible with all G29s. It's best to look them up on external sites where you can then get a part number and perform an Internet search to find the best price and availability.

You are correct, when I first took delivery of my car and was looking for certain accessories for my 2022 G29 many didn't appear but when I changed my search to either 2020 or 2021 they were available.
